Eat Jersey, a unique celebration of gourmet food, with an array of top chefs including two 2-Michelin starred chefs in the line up, is set to return in 2024. The festival brings with it a particularly special run of events at The Atlantic Hotel, led by Executive Chef Will Holland.
With such culinary excitement on the horizon, we thought it would be the perfect time to chat to Will and get the inside scoop on all the things that Will loves about living in Jersey. From fabulous feasting to fresh sea air and family fun, we reckon Will has got island life nailed down to a tee.

Meet Will.
Originally from Bristol, Will has worked in some of the UK’s finest restaurants and earned his first Michelin star before his 30th birthday.
After joining The Atlantic Hotel in October 2017, Will Holland earned Four AA Rosettes for Ocean Restaurant putting it among the top 3% of restaurants in the UK rated by the AA.
Passionate about local produce, Will’s menus are a celebration of the land and sea.

My favourite way to unwind in Jersey is...
Running! Jersey is perfect for quiet country lanes or coastal paths. One of my favourite spots is along the north coast. It certainly makes a run a lot easier when you’ve got such incredible views and fresh sea air. I also like to unwind by spending time with my family on the beach. In the summer we have BBQs, build sand castles and dig holes and through the winter it’s all about getting wrapped up and walking the dog or flying a kite.
My go to breakfast spot on the island ...
Has to be The Hungry Man. Bacon rolls by this pretty harbour are an absolute must!

The Hungry Man
Nestled on the harbour wall in Rozel Bay and offering a wide range of food, from gourmet burgers to crab sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes. All seating is al fresco, so be sure to rug up in the chillier months. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried to suit the calm and natural environment of beautiful Rozel Bay.
Le Braye Bistro
A family owned beachside bistro offering simple, fresh and delicious food and drink. The food pays homage to British seaside classics whilst Mediterranean influences nod to the more southern geography. The food is always fresh, locally sourced wherever possible, and consistently unfussy and delicious.
Mad Mary’s Beach Café
Perched at the end of a path just above the sea, Mad Mary's is famous for hot chocolate, Bouley burgers and the larger than life character of the proprietor, Mary Tunney.
The Driftwood Café
Archirondel's pretty pebbly beach is home to this popular beach café with views of the Martello Tower and the sprawling French coast. Tucked away down a small road and opening onto Archirondel Beach on Jersey's east coast. This café is a true favourite for locals and visitors alike.

El Tico in St Ouen’s Bay for delicious food and a chilled beach vibe. The Old Station Café at First Tower – the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand! Plemont beach. Its such a magical place and well worth the walk back up the steps.
